Our School took part in a soccer tournament which was organised by the Gelvandale Primary Schools. We won our first four round robin games.

We won against  Gelvan Park 4-1, Gelvan Primary 4-2, and Bayview 6-1.

We lost the final game in the round robin 2-1 against Parkside Primary. Our points were enough to progress to the knock out stages, where we won Bayview on penalties. In the semi-final we came up against Parkside in the final and lost 2-1 to them again. Our players received a trophy and medals for ending in second place. One of our players received a prize for being the best player of the tournament: Mathew Plaatjies.

Our boys enjoyed the day as they felt that the new soccer kit inspired them to do that well.
