Following a well-established tradition, members and friends of the Pangaea Project e.V. met from 30th December 2017 until 1st of January 2018 to celebrate New Years and hold the annual meeting.

This year we planned to meet at the Klostertaler Umwelthütte high up in the mountains (see previous year). However, the avalanche risk was too high and spontaneously we found a great place in Bludenz, Austria (thank you Angelika and Constantin!).

The first two days we went ski touring and snow shoeing, simply enjoying the alpine views and great talks. We shared stories from our travels, plans, projects and laughs. Also, the vegetarian cuisine helped to keep spirits high!

During the annual meeting we discussed our projects of 2017, including the Tree Planting in Brazil, the skiing project in Nepal and waterhole construction in South Sudan. Additionally, we elected the new board (see Staff).

We are looking forward to the next Reunion and wish everyone a Happy 2018!
