We arrived at the Fontein Primary school in Port Elizabeth for the first time after our stay in 2012 – almost one and a half years later! We found that everything at the school was still up and running and in good shape. The food garden is looking good, the feeding scheme is in place and the kids receive a decent meal every day. And we were very happy to see that the bathrooms and sanitation facilities, that had been installed with the help of Geberit, are still in a very good condition!

So today we started off with painting another part of the school, as well as repainting some of the games for the children. The kids were really happy to see this and they were playing on the games as soon as we were finished, not even waiting for the paint to dry properly!

We look forward to tomorrow and Thursday when we plan on taking the kids on an educational excursion to the beach and other landmarks in the area.
